Black Mental Health Resources started as a collaboration between the Minnesota Association of Black Psychologists and HDLinder Selective Consultations. We found it was difficult for African American families to find the right help at the right time. Agencies still continue to struggle with recruiting and hiring African American professionals. And Black mental health professionals have trouble connecting with each other or with career opportunities!
So, we’re working to correct that. Our hope is to build the most comprehensive directory of mental health resources for people of African descent that exists anywhere in the world. And with your help, we can do just that.
This is a work in progress. You can help by adding your own listing HERE and, then, by encouraging other behavioral health professionals of African descent to do the same. IT'S ALL FREE! We promise never to charge anyone for their individual listing. And THANK YOU for being willing to help!
